Hello readers and welcome to my second year of blogging!
I began this little bullet journal blog in January last year but I wasn't sure for most of it what on earth I wanted to write!
I'm happy to report one year later I have learnt a lot from this blog and will definitely be sticking to a more regular uploading schedule from now on.
2023 taught me that weekly blog writing works well for me, but I need to vary what I post.
Now onto the first post of 2024!
This week I created a little video to showcase the completed logs of my 2023 bullet journal.
I am still using the same notebook for 2024 but I have ensured that the logs are in a clearer order.
So this blog post will have a summary of 2024 with a description of my 2024 journal logs.
2023 Video Summary
Here is a video I created using Capcut to document all of the logs and trackers I designed and used in 2023. It starts from my January monthly spread and finishes with my October, November and December doodle log. Enjoy!
2024 Bullet Journal Contents
Following on from the final log of 2023 I decided I wanted to have a more consistent layout with all of the similar types of logs for 2024 following on from each other, rather than dotted in random places throughout my journal. Therefore I designed and planned my 2024 logs more accurately than I did in 2023.
The contents for 2024 is as follows:
Monthly logs
Sleep trackers
Mood trackers
Self-care trackers
24 Books in 2024
Reading tracker for 2024
Gratitude Jars for 2024
Weekly Quote Logs for 2024
I left out gaming logs for 2024 as I prefer to just play video games. Instead I have designed a tracker to keep tabs on how many chapters I read each day, as I want to focus more on reading this year.
I decided to include two new logs this year, individual gratitude jars and a weekly quote log for 2024. I enjoyed the giant gratitude jar from 2023 but thought I would adapt it slightly this year. I also signed up for weekly journal prompts and they are giving me great quotes that I thought I would share each week. As I love quotes, I decided to use some of my journal to document these.
I will leave you with this quote for the week by Meister Eckhart:
And suddenly you know: It's time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings
See you next week,
Sophie
