Hello readers from Cervinia in Italy!
I am off skiing but today's blog is all about saying a fond farewell to February.
There is nothing I love more than taking a moment on the first day of a new month to look back at what I did the previous month. I find it so satisfying to look at the completed spread and very interesting to see what I decided to document for each day.

I played my first roller derby game for my new team, after my old league folded last year. You will be seeing more of those roller derby stickers this year 👀
I have taken to writing the overall topic for each week's blog on the Monday the week before, this acts as a little plan that guides my writing.
I have decided to doodle, draw and decorate each monthly spread at the start of each month. It helped to provide me with a colour scheme I can use throughout the month.
Reflections On February
The photos above include the self-care, mood, reading and sleep trackers covering January and February. I also included the gratitude jars for January and February.
I managed to do at least two self-care strategies each day of February. My goal for March is to complete three strategies each day if I can.
I had a few wobbly moments in February, but an overall green or happy month.
I read three books and 94 chapters over the course of February. I wonder if I can read 100 chapters in one month this year? We shall see!
I slept very well over the course of this month with only three days where I had under 6 hours sleep. I plan to maintain 7 hours or more if I can throughout March.
I am grateful for my new roller derby team, as I really feel like I am gaining skills each week and learning new drills to put into practice both at training and in game situations.
Next week I will be discussing my skiing holiday, showing the log I created to document my first ski trip in 5 years!!!
See you then,
Sophie ⛷️🇮🇹📖📚
