Hello readers,
As we are approaching the last few days of October I will be sharing my set ups for the logs and trackers ready for the month of November.
This will include:
November Monthly Log
November Sleep Tracker
November Mood Tracker
November Self-Care Tracker
November Monthly Log
![Double page spread with large black November 2023 title. Purple quote about November on the right hand side. Purple, green, grey pens and 3 pencils next to the notebook on the left hand side. A white stencil is below the pens and pencils.](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/de696f_9fd160ffbc1844f8aca606a7e12e6387~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_980,h_559,al_c,q_85,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_auto/de696f_9fd160ffbc1844f8aca606a7e12e6387~mv2.jpg)
This is a similar layout to my previous monthly logs, with some added flare courtesy of a mandala stencil. The colour scheme I chose is called November Sunset, which I love as a name and the colours work so well together too. Credit goes to Google for helping me find a great autumnal selection of colours to go with purple.
As you can see I have already included some important dates for a meet up with friends and Cubs/Scouting events in green pen. This just ensures that I remember these, despite having them on my phone calendar I like to see them every time I write what I've done each day. That way I can prepare for them in advance and not have a last minute panic!
November's Quote is by Cynthia Rylant, who is an American author and librarian:
In November, the earth is growing quiet.
It is making its bed, a winder bed for flowers and small creatures.
The bed is white and silent, and much life can hide beneath its blankets
I chose this quote because it fits perfectly between the changing of leaves in October to snow (rarely) in December, giving beautiful imagery of animals hibernating and the earth helping that process of nature too.
November Sleep Tracker
![Purple shapes interlocking with plain white triangles in the centre, numbers written to document every day in November. Title with black letters: November Sleep Tracker at the top of the page. In the top right hand corner a green and red triangle for the colour coding of this tracker.](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/de696f_e1c19eee1b9141468b3431b6441518a9~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_980,h_1430,al_c,q_85,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_auto/de696f_e1c19eee1b9141468b3431b6441518a9~mv2.jpg)
I used the central part of a Mandala Stencil to help with this intricate design for November's sleep tracker.
As you can see, I couldn't quite decide where I wanted to write the numbers to represent each day so there are two! One in the purple stencil and another number near the triangle in the centre. Either way, I should hopefully be able to use this without much problem, it just doesn't look as pretty as I would like it too.
I will be colouring in each triangle green if I have slept over 6 hours or red if I have slept under 5.
November Mood Tracker
![A black and white stencil drawn in fineline pen in the centre, with a red, yellow and green colour code to fill in for the writer's mood every day in November](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/de696f_71be5d33329c448387f27bc16696a5dc~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_980,h_758,al_c,q_85,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_auto/de696f_71be5d33329c448387f27bc16696a5dc~mv2.jpg)
I used the same Mandala Stencil for the last four months of the year, from September through to December so nothing has changed here. I will be using red, yellow and green to track my mood each day in November. I am manifesting a mainly green month if possible, but you never know what life will throw at you!
November Self-Care Tracker
![Partially coloured in mandala stencil with black title of November. Parts are coloured in black, purple, blue and green to represent the 3 self-care strategies used by the writer.](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/de696f_49aa0bd7c13041a79c8d44758f64cf73~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_980,h_685,al_c,q_85,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_auto/de696f_49aa0bd7c13041a79c8d44758f64cf73~mv2.jpg)
November's Self-Care Tracker is a different design to October, again I used a Mandala Stencil to achieve this. Next year I will probably end up keeping two months per page and use the same stencil for those, as that has worked very well so far this year. I will continue to ensure I read, play video games and write in my bullet journal every day. If I don't manage all three, I always try to journal as that is my most helpful self-care strategy.
Next week I will be sharing my next doodle log: 10 for November! If I get inspired, I may up this to 20 for November and then 30 for December but we shall see how it goes.
As always, thank you for reading my little blog post and I hope it offers you some inspiration for what you can do when setting up for each month.
See you next time and Happy Halloween for tomorrow (if you celebrate it which I do!)
