This week's blog includes an update of my February and March monthly logs alongside my gaming log. I also created a reel on my Instagram showing a flip through of my January and February monthly logs (link to this at the end of this post).
February 2023: Double page monthly spread including quote and chapter tracker

This is my finished February log. I especially love the chapter tracker, it is so satisfying to keep tabs on how many chapters I am reading of my current book.
March 2023 so far...

This is my March log so far. I think I will start doing flip through of my bullet journal when I have reached the end of 3 months. So by the end of 2023 I'll have a little video summary of my year!
It is also good fun keeping tabs on the variety of video games I am playing, especially when I am tracking achievements too.
Gaming Log so far...

This shows that although I am playing a lot of Animal Crossing, Fortnite and Wylde Flowers, I can also focus more now on varying the games I play.
Back to the newest log for my bullet journal: the Birthday log! This helps to keep tabs on birthdays of friends, family and pets!
Now I don't know if it happens to anyone else, but good old Facebook is my go to for remembering friends birthdays (shocking I know). But no more!
While I was searching for different birthdays log layouts I came across two I liked: presents or cake? Tough decision but I ultimately went with cakes!
I drew 12 cakes in stacks of 4, one cake for every month that I will fill with birthdays of my nearest and dearest.
I started as I always do with a pencil outline, using a ruler and rubber to make sure my design was perfect.

I then outlined my drawings and used some marker pens to colour in the icing. To finish off I went over the lettering with a fine liner so the title of the log and the months of the year could be seen clearly.

I used a Staedtler pigment liner size 0.3, pencils, ruler, rubber, Faber-Castell PITT artist pen size M and a pack of Artistro Paint Marker pens (found on amazon).
As I have said before Instagram, Pinterest and Google are great spaces to search for your own birthday log designs as there are so many to choose from!
Next week I am helping on a scout camp so I will upload my next post on Sunday.
Here is my Instagram if you want to see what else I have been sharing from my bullet journal: https://www.instagram.com/sophiesbulletjournalblog/
Next time I will show you a way to design and use a TV tracker log.
