Hello,
This week's blog post is going to cover how to track your monthly goals.
I did some research via Instagram and Pinterest to find inspiration for the different layouts and designs people used for goal trackers.
The first thing you need to do is chose your goals. You can also focus on particular areas of your life e.g. exercise, money/finance, health or hobbies. You then need to decide how many goals you are going to aim for, be realistic: don't choose too many to do in a month.
I decided to do 5 monthly goals for September and I will most likely create goal trackers for October, November and December too.
Below is my set up for September:
September Goals

I used a mandala stencil for the title of the page, using the inside to decorate the rest of the page when I had drawn the boxes for each goal.
I worked out the layout and where I wanted the goal boxes to go using pencil before outlining them in black fineliner.
I picked a colour scheme of purple, green and red for my goals tracker and I will fill in each box in the right hand corner with a specific coloured tick.
For example, once I have finished two books that box will have a purple tick in it.
I used a ruler to draw a design around the title and then did spirals of the three colours to add extra decoration to the page.
My goals:
Finish audiobook
Update blog weekly
Read books every day
Finish two books
Attend as many roller derby training sessions as possible
I will do an update of this tracker at the end of September.
See you next week and thanks as always for reading,
Sophie
