Happy Sunday and here is a surprise blog post! I have got an incredibly busy week so I am being extra prepared and writing this early!
Now a few weeks ago I attended the London Pokémon Go Fest 2023 in Brockwell Park. This then made me go "hmm which are my favourite Pokémon? I wonder if I could draw them?"
For context, I first go into Pokémon back when I was about 10 when my mother bought me Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team on Nintendo DS. I've enjoyed many Pokémon related games since then, and I collected the Pokémon cards at one point too. So fast forward to 17 years later, and I'm still playing Pokémon Go and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon DX on Switch.
This started me asking my friends and family which Pokémon to draw but the majority are my favourites.

My personal all-time favourite Pokémon is Piplup. I have loved penguins forever so that one was a given.
My mum's favourite Pokémon is the shiny Gyrados. This came about after I convinced her to download Pokémon Go and she got to understand all my Pokémon knowledge!
Another of my favourites is Dialga, but I had run out of drawing skills to make it as accurate as I wanted so I stuck in a printed drawing. I used fineliners to colour Dialga in instead!
But as always, if you start doodling and realise maybe this isn't for you: change it up. Bullet journals are made for you and by you, so go wild!
I realised how relaxing it was to just sit and spend about 10 minutes doodling a particular Pokémon. So I will definitely be drawing more from now on.
I will be back with another blog next Monday!
As always thank you for reading,
