Hello readers,
This week I will be discussing my Seasonal Doodle page that I created in my bullet journal,
I decided to use seasons to guide my doodles as for 2025 I will be trying to do more drawing and detailed designs for monthly logs and front covers for each month too.
Stages of my Seasonal Doodles
I began by splitting my page into four sections and used bubble writing for the titles, one in each block for Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
I used Google, Pinterest and Instagram for inspiration for the doodles I chose to include as well as my favourite things about each season.
I recommend drawing in pencil then outlining in a fineliner before you colour in your doodles.
I used fineliners and marker pens to finish off each doodle and I chose colours for the titles based off the doodles in each section.
There are many ways I will end up using these doodles in my future bullet journal logs and spreads, especially for 2025.
These act as little mood boards for each season that I can flick back to if I need inspiration or ideas to decorate pages, spreads or logs.
You might create doodle mood boards for a season, or event you are attending. So that when you need ideas you have them all ready to hand.
I know I will be coming back to these pages next year when I started creating my first ever front covers for each month.
As always thank you for reading,
Sophie
