Hello readers,
I am back this week discussing the fun of uninspirational quotes, something I have gotten into more recently and now I've started discovering a whole new world of quotes...I can't stop!
I have been a fan of inspirational quotes for years, I always love the power of an uplifting mantra or quote to make you feel happier if something has knocked you down. However, following discussions with friends and finding uninspirational quotes on Instagram and Pinterest, I created this latest quote log.
![Purple, green, pink and blue text with uninspirational quotes covering two pages of a bullet journal](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/de696f_a8cf240aebf043a4b7d8caa9d10a5c07~mv2.jpg/v1/fill/w_980,h_701,al_c,q_85,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01,enc_auto/de696f_a8cf240aebf043a4b7d8caa9d10a5c07~mv2.jpg)
First, you can choose if you want to censor some of these quotes as a fair few uninspiring affirmations swear. This is mainly because these quotes are more sarcastic than your standard inspirational quotes.
Next, get inspired from other people's ideas through Instagram and Pinterest and draft a rough plan for your log.
It is important to think about three things when creating a quote log:
Size of title and any additional decoration for the log e.g. washi tape or stickers
How many quotes you want to have in your log
The colour scheme for your quotes
These three ideas can provide you with a guide for your log, to design it your way.
Then you can decide whether you want to copy out the quotes you like or print them. I have seen many different layouts and designs for quote logs, I personally enjoy the process of selecting and rewriting them myself.
It is also important to credit authors and sources of your quotes, unless they are your own. It is super fun when there is a small chance they may see your work! Recently this happened to me and an author took time out to send a little message via Instagram!
And there you have it, simple steps to create an uninspirational quote log!
See you next week,
