Hello readers,
I am back with a new post this week covering designing borders for a bullet journal,
I found a post from Notebook therapy full of inspiration for doodles that can be used for decorating bullet journal spreads.

I took ideas from here and created mood boards that I will use in future journal logs and spreads, to add extra details and decorations to each page.
The first part includes line designs that you can use to finish off pages or for underlining particular titles of importance. I used one thickness of pen but you could adapt this and use different colours and thicknesses to achieve your desired effect.
The second part involved little motifs, essentially mini symbols and doodles you can combine with the lines or with each other to create more borders.
The final section had some examples of using the motifs and the border designs together to create doodle borders.
I really enjoyed exploring new ways of combining simple designs that I can then apply to spreads and highlight particular parts of logs. For example, if I want to create a series of picture frame doodles I could use these border ideas to provide the frames for each drawing.
The possibilities are endless and I am designing some other types of borders I may use in future logs and title pages.
I look forward to seeing you next week and as always, thank you for reading.
